Dune is the first album of L'Arc-en-Ciel. It was released in a limited edition on April 10, 1993. The regular edition, which contained the additional track "Ushinawareta Nagame", was available on April 27 of the same year. With the regular edition, the band reached number 1 on the Oricon indie chart on May 10. With this, they got popular between the indie bands.

To promote the album, it was relead music videos for "Dune", "As if in a Dream" and "Floods of Tears", but only this one was really released as single.
